Trainer Handicapping Thread

Chad Brown has 5 horses going in the Diana, I usually look to bet the better price amongst them and it won yesterday in the 3rd race at Saratoga. This also happened last month when they raced at Saratoga for Christopher Clement. Bob Baffert will be doing this at Del Mar starting next week and I'm sure some other trainers do it, just something I'm passing along to everybody so we all may win, it doesn't happen every time but just making you aware of it, good luck.

Thanks joe. This can be a very good angle - happens often. Watch when Saffie has 2 or 3 going at GP in a race. At least half the time the higher price outuns the one they're hammering.

You're right, Saffie does this at Gulfstream.

If you follow a circuit, knowing a trainers strength and weakness areas are very telling. Most all trainers have them and if you can identify them, their hit rate is probably twice there overall average win percentage both winning and losing.

Mike Maker just hit with my theory, his 9-1 horse just won Saratoga 7th while his even money favorite in the same race finished off the board and I decided to take the day off with the races taken off the turf, stupid me.

Trainer H DePaz had 2 horses in the last race yesterday at Saratoga and the highest odds horse won at 24-1, keep an eye out for more chances.

Opener at Saratoga just now. Deveaux has the favorite and a 13-1 shot. The higher price wins impressively.

Today Chad Brown has 3 of the 4 entries in Saratoga 2nd and Ward has 2 entries in the 10th, At Delmar the 2nd, 3rd,5th,6th and 8th has a trainer with 2 entries. This past Sunday I didn't notice til 1 minute to post that Baffert had 2 entries in the race and his 6-1 won over his 2-5 horse. Again play at your own risk and tread lightly as it does pop with a good winner and the ROI is on the plus side this summer, good luck.

This winner helped me string a few winning races in a row and turned a very bad day into a slight profit, I'm sure they'll be more races tomorrow with this angle, good luck if you play them.
